Kevin Richardson with Tony Park - Part of the Pride My Life Among the Big Cats of Africa
About a year ago, film started to circulate on YouTube(R) of a remarkable man named Kevin Richardson, an animal custodian in a South African animal park. The film showed Richardson in his day-to-day work, looking some of the world's most dangerous animals directly in the eye, crouching down at their level, playing with them and, sometimes, even kissing them on the nose--all without ever being attacked or injured. This is his book about his unbelievable experience.
Recent years have seen rapid growth in the numbers of children being taught foreign languages at younger ages. While course books aimed at young learners are appearing on the market, there is scant theoretical reference in the teacher education literature. It will offer teachers and trainers a coherent theoretical framework to structure thinking about children's language learning.
This book has some of the worst looking, sloppily beaded flowers I have ever seen. Several of the patterns don't have any resemblance whatsoever to the actual flowers being referenced. The whole book seems geared to the level of a 10 year old. That being said, there were some really good (actual size) diagrams for leaves and flower parts. Except for the fact that the classic French technique was totally co-opted and dumbed down, it managed to hold my attention for quite a while.

This book based on a children's television show is a delight to read to children. The illustrations are taken directly from the show and are bright, full of color and action. The moral of this particular story is about being responsible for the things we do and don't do in life. Great for children ages 3-8.
