International Encyclopedia of Ergonomics and Human Factors
This is the first encyclopedia in the field and provides a comprehensive and authoritative compendium of current knowledge on ergonomics and human factors and a definitive and powerful resource. It also gives specific information on concepts and tools unique to ergonomics. It consists of approximately 500 entries running to about 2016 pages, published in three volumes. The entries are organized alphabetically and written in such a way that the non-expert will get a clear and simple outline of the topic as well as some precise practical information (such as a table of normative anthropometric data). It also includes a bibliography structured by theme.
Pains and Gains of International Mobility in Teacher Education
The book focuses on the pains and gains of international mobility in teacher education - its challenges and benefits. The aim is on the one hand to identify some of the challenges which help to explain the low percentage of internationally orientated teacher education students and suggest how to overcome them. On the other hand, major benefits of international mobility in teacher education are presented in the form of competences that can be acquired through studying and teaching abroad.
