A musical prodigy, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart began playing the piano and composing when he was just three years old. Able to play multiple instruments, among them the piano and violin, Mozart spent much of his youth touring European courts with his family. From the time he was three until his death just thirty-two years later, he produced a huge volume of musical works. Among them the famed operas The Magic Flute, The Marriage of Figaro, and Don Giovanni.

They'll will help Steve, Blue and the gang get their backyard musical show underway by helping to write a brand new song with G-Clef, the voice of Ray Charles, and of course, by playing Blue's Clues. 

How can music be taught musically? Topics covered include: the place of music in the curriculum; the mature of musical learning; planning, managing and assessing musical learning; school examinations and music; music outside of the curriculum. One of the main premises of the book is that music needs to be taught 'musically', with specific reference to both the nature of music itself and its metaphorical significance. It is important that music itself guides what goes on in the music classroom if we are to motivate our pupils and help them to fulfil their potential as musicians.
