Vocabulary Explorations Level A (Book + Teacher's Guide)
Vocabulary Explorations is a high-interest, research-based series designed to improve student vocabulary through active exploration of words and their meanings. The series meets state vocabulary standards, which involve not only vocabulary acquisition (learning new words), but also vocabulary concept development (understanding how to increase vocabulary on your own and how to think about words and use language). Levels A, B and C have the same structure, but the words and activities increase slightly in difficulty. Usage Level: - Middle School (Grade 6 - Grade 8) - Below-level high school students and English language learners (ELL/ESL) - Adult Education Programs and Community Colleges
