This widely used professional development resource and course text provides an engaging overview of developmental theory and research, with a focus on what practitioners need to know. The author explains how children's trajectories are shaped by transactions among early relationships, brain development, and the social environment. Developmental processes of infancy, toddlerhood, the preschool years, and middle childhood are described. The book shows how children in each age range typically behave, think, and relate to others, and what happens when development goes awry.

In How Professors Think, she reveals what she discovered about this secretive, powerful, peculiar world.
This is more of a descriptive study and self-knowledge guide, with half of the book consisting of various tests and their solutions. Some of these tests are rather instructive, but IMHO they have little to do with the subject of training your chess thought. Of course, doing the excercises will improve your play. The seller was very prompt, attentive and helpful. I would recommend this business to anyone.
