One of Waugh's most famous books, Brideshead Revisited tells the story of the difficult loves of insular Englishman Charles Ryder, and his peculiarly intense relationship with the wealthy but dysfunctional family that inhabited Brideshead. Taking place in the years after World War II, Brideshead Revisited shows us a part of upper-class English culture that has been disappearing steadily.
John Gabriel Borkman is the penultimate composition of the Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen, written in 1896. The Borkman family fortunes have been brought low by the imprisonment of John Gabriel who used his position as a bank manager to illegally speculate with his investors' money. The action of the play takes place eight years after Borkman's release when John Gabriel Borkman, Mrs. Borkman, and her twin sister Ella Rentheim battle over the future of young Erhart Borkman.

Home Workshop Hints and Tips
For nearly a hundred years "Model Engineer" magazine has proved a source of knowledge for a wide variety of engineering practices. Its readership has included many highly experienced engineers, who have answered queries and contributed valuable information in order that everyone involved in the construction and use of machines should be able to extend both scope and skills. Many of the pieces of information regarded as most useful appeared in brief notes or articles, often many years ago, and were never republished. This compilation offers a selection of hints and tips culled from a wide time-scale of the magazine.

Years Best Science Fiction: Twentieth Annual Collection
Stalwart sf fans will most likely find Dozois' twentieth stout annual anthology as satisfying as any of its predecessors. The authors represented in it range from multiple-award winners Gregory Benford, Nancy Kress, and John Kessel to skilled newcomers Molly Gloss and Chris Beckett. In-betweeners in terms of prize winning and output include Ian MacLeod, Ian McDonald, Bruce Sterling, and Eleanor Arnason, who should write much more. Dozois has again cast his net widely, drawing Geoff Ryman's entry from a chapbook and Walter Jon Williams' from the electronic media.
