This very popular children’s story with a timeless moral is based on the adventures of a lazy bee called Fumble Bee and the eventual consequences of his actions. While out collecting honey one day he is captivated by a beautiful little butterfly he bumps in to, and together they party all summer long, resulting in him getting banned from the bee-hive. Eventually the weather changes to winter, and all of a sudden Fumble Bee can no longer find flowers to feed from, and his new friends have disappeared. Finally, he realizes the error of his ways and works to redeem himself.
