 Narrator Rosalyn Landor enhances Fielding's well-drawn story, spot-on characters, and colorful dialogue. Friendship, career, and romance, the trio of joy and sorrow for modern women, are skewered, with Landor capturing each character splendidly. Most noticeable is the contrast between Bridget and her mother, which flows perfectly and most likely will strike a chord in many young listeners. Now that Bridget has a steady man, it's satisfying to see that she remains faithful to her old friends. Realism is maintained as Bridget still battles the same problems...
